Marchand, 64, of Upper Sandusky, who was born John Joseph Donnelly on Aug. 26, 1930, in Bellefontaine, died at 11:15 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 14, 1995, at the Fairhaven Nursing Home in Upper Sandusky. He had been adopted by Jacob A. and Kathryn McBride Marchand, and his mother survives at Fairhaven. A graduate of Kent State University, he was a retired school teacher. Funeral services are at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Fairhaven Home, where friends may call an hour prior to the services. The Sheilds Funeral Home in Forest is handling arrangements. Burial will be in the Hueston Cemetery in Forest.
