- Obituary of Barbara Abel Watkins
"EL CAJON, Calif. -- Barbara Abel Watkins, 56, of Menlo Park, Calif. died at 2:15 a.m. Wednesday, August 7, 1991, at her residence.
Mrs. Watkins had lived in California since 1962 and was a Presbyterian by faith. She had worked for the Millbrae Library Systems for 21 years and with her husband managed a condo park for many years. She attended Bliss College for two years.
Born, February 17, 1935, in Roseville, Muskingam, Ohio, she was a daughter of John and Thelma Abel.
Surviving are her husband, Garth Watkins; one sister, Bonnie Norris of Gambier; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Robert Abel.
The Neptune Society of El Cajon, Calif. was in charge of arrangements.
