- William Easton, b. either 2 or 24 May 1800 in Shelby Co., KY, was the son of Redwood Easton and Mary "Polly" McMichael. He married on 2 (or 3) Jul 1834, by Rev. George McColloch of the Tharps Run Baptist Church, to Paulina Carpenter, daughter of William Barney Carpenter and Sarah Blodgett. By his will dated 1 Jul 1862 he left 480 acres of land purchased from the US Government on 4 Feb 1856 in Boone Co., IA to his three surviving sons.

2. John Easton (1837/8-1862). Died in the Battle of Shiloh at Pittsburgh Landing, TN.
