Text | Be in known unto whome this maybe concern yt, I William Towne of Topsfield in the County of Essex for in consideration of sixteene pounds in hand paid 7 other good causes: hath agrred, bargained sould & sett over unto Isaack Easty & by these presents doth fully agree, bargain, sell & sett over unto Isaack Easty of th esame Topsfield and County two parcells of modow land, containing fouer ackers & half more or less & cituate lying & being in ye same above above sd Topsfield the one of ye parcel bounded by ye river called Ipswich River towards ye south. Jacob Towne's meddow towards ye norwest awaye towards ye north, & meddow of Edmond Towne's towards ye east. To have and to hold & peaceably and quietly to enjoy all ye sd meddow and land of both parcels with all the priviledges & [blurred words] therunto belonging unto ye sd Isaack Easty, his heires & excuters & assigns forever, & ye sd Edmond Towne, doth herby warrant ye sale of ye sd premises against all lawful suites, letters or denyalls of any person or persons from, by or under him Laying claim or right thereunto or any person whatsoever I Ye said William Towne hath hereunto set my hand & seale in ye year of our God one thousand, six hundred & sixty three-1663 subscribed, sealed & dot in the presence of us, as ye act and deed of william Towne. This writing was acknowledged by william Towne to been his act & deed this 11th of 3: 63 [11 May 1663] before me Simon Bradstreete entered this 2 of: 7 mo: 1673 [2 September 1673] by me Willard Vernen Recorded |
