- Mrs. Ruth H. Burns, widow of George Burns, died at her home on Bethesda Route 1 Saturday morning, April 21. Services arranged by H. L. Campbell & Sons, were held from the residence Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock. They were conducted by Rev. Erdis Kollar and interment was made in Ebenezer Cemetery.
Mrs. Burns was the daughter of William and Harriet Hashman Patterson and was born in Goshen Township February 1, 1851. She leaves 3 children, Frank of the home, Mrs. Pearl Kemp of Bethesda Route 1, and Mrs. Gail Hatcher of Cambridge, R. D. and 6 grandchildren.
