F, 50th Pennsylvania Militia, and honorably discharged with his company August 15, 1863. His surname is spelled 'Fellabaum' in the muster roll, yet his brother Jesse is in the same muster roll as 'Fellenbaum'."

- The son of Peter & Lydia "Ritty" (Conley) Fellabaum, in 1860 he was a carpenter living with his family in Upper Leacock Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. The family surname is spelled "Fellenbaum" in the 1850 and 1860 censuses.
A Civil War veteran, he enlisted in Lancaster August 4, 1862, mustered into federal service there August 11 as a private with Co. C, 122nd Pennsylvania Infantry. After returning from the army, he married Lydia lnu. and fathered Ida M. (b. @1866), Elizabeth Ella (b. @1867), Carney (b. @1869), Ritty A. (b. @1873), Elmer E. (b. @1875), Jane M. (b. @1879), Carrie Maud (b. @1881 - married Otho R. Rench), and Charles A. (b. 03/28/84). By 1870, he was living with his family in Montgomery County, Ohio. Lydia died there August 17, 1884, and he married Ohio-born Elizabeth Yost, née Price, fathering Frances May (b. 03/18/86).
